On Saturday the 28th of May, 11 students from ICHK attended the 2011 Learning Without Frontiers ICT competition, which gives Hong Kong secondary school students a chance to compete against each other using their technical know-how. The competition involves students working for a real-world client on a secret brief, which is only revealed once students have arrived at the event. Hosted by Sha Tin College, the event was also attended by students from South Island School, Island School and Hong Kong International School.
Congratulations to all who participated, as each team produced some very good work. In the end ICHK students Fung Wong, Sheryl Deakin, Rei Ishimizu, Pat Chamberlain and Kelsie Bouttle came away with first prize in the Junior section, for their excellent concept, which integrated a video (below) and website in meeting the client’s brief. Another team, consisting of Femke Henzen, Jamie Choi and Emma Boelen also received high praise from the judges for their work.
