While we accept applications throughout the year places fill fast, so please apply as early as possible.
- 4 Oct 2010: Closing date for Applications into Year 7. [After 2 October, students from our partner schools will no longer have priority placement.]
- 7 & 8 Oct: Pre-entry testing and interviews, for ICHK partner schools.
- 29 Oct: Acceptance letters sent to students from our partner schools.
- 15 Nov: Payment of Capital Deposit.
- 15-19 Nov: Acceptance letters sent to students from non-partner school applicants
Step 1: Application Form
Complete the application form and return to the ICHK Admissions Office with the application fee of $2,000 payable to ‘International College Hong Kong Ltd’. Application forms are available at ICHK and our partner schools and can also be downloaded online (see below).
Step 2: Pre-entry test and interview
All applicants will take a standardized ability test followed by an English writing assessment and an oral interview. In exceptional circumstances, such as when a student is coming from overseas, an offer of a place may be awarded on the basis of a satisfactory school reports.
Step 3: Acceptance
Once qualified, ICHK will offer a place according to the admission priority system.
Students with learning needs may be admitted if we can support their needs within a mainstream classroom. If additional teaching support is needed then parents will be asked to pay for these extra costs. A conditional offer will be made in these circumstances.
Step 4: Confirmation
Once a place had been offered, enrollment is considered final once the school receives the Capital Deposit of HK$60,000. This deposit is refundable provided the student attends for at least one term, fees are fully paid, and one term’s notice is given in writing.
