Our curriculum has been developed around three core areas that we believe are vital to the social and academic development of our students:
- Leadership and Learning
- International and Global Issues
- Critical Thinking and Problem Solving
These form a vital component of each of the three curricula that students complete as they progress through the school.

Years 12 & 13: IB Diploma
The International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme is a challenging two-year curriculum, primarily aimed at students aged 16 to 19. It leads to a qualification that is widely recognised by the world’s leading universities.
The IB Diploma Programme prepares students for university and encourages them to:
- Ask challenging questions.
- Learn how to learn.
- Develop a strong sense of their own identity and culture.
- Develop the ability to communicate with and understand people from other countries and cultures.
As well as the traditional subjects of Maths, English, Sciences, Languages and Arts, students will also complete three core requirements:
- Theory of Knowledge: TOK explores the nature of knowledge across disciplines and encourages an appreciation of other cultural perspectives.
- Extended Essay: The EE offers students the opportunity to investigate a topic of individual interest, as well as developing their independent research and writing skills which are expected at university.
- Creativity, Action, Service: CAS encourages students to be involved in artistic pursuits, sports and community service work. CAS fosters an awareness and appreciation of life outside the academic arena.
