Step 1: Application Form

Application forms are available online.  Complete the online application  and mail in the supporting documents (HKID copy, birth certificate, visa, school report …etc) along with the application fee of $2,000 payable to ‘International College Hong Kong (NT)’.  Please mark ‘Admissions’ on the envelop or place it in the subject line of your email.

Step 2: Pre-entry test and interview

All applicants will take a standardized ability test followed by an English language assessment. Interviews will be held for students from non-partner schools. In exceptional circumstances, such as when a student is coming from overseas, an offer of a place may be awarded on the basis of satisfactory school reports.

Step 3: Acceptance

Once qualified, ICHK will offer a place according to our admission priority system.

Students with learning needs may be admitted if we can support their needs within a mainstream classroom. If additional teaching support is needed then parents will be asked to pay for these extra costs. A conditional offer will be made in these circumstances.

Step 4: Confirmation

Once a place had been offered, enrollment is considered final once the school receives the Capital Deposit of HK$60,000. The full value of the capital deposit is refundable only provided all four of the following conditions are met:

  • one term’s notice is given in writing
  • the student has attended for at least one term
  • the student has left the school, and
  • there is no outstanding balance.

This deposit is used for capital development including the provision of school facilities and for school development in the long term to meet parent’s expectations.
